Detectives from the LVMPD Homicide Section are investigating the death of a nail salon employee. On December 29, 2018 at approximately 3:45 p.m. an unidentified suspect went to a nail salon located in the 4900 block of West Flamingo Road to get a manicure. The suspect left the business without paying and the victim ran after her to stop her from leaving. The victim ran in front of the suspect’s car. The suspect did not stop and struck the victim with the car.

During the course of this investigation detectives identified 21-year-old Krystal Whipple as the suspect in this incident. Detectives are currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating Whipple. A prior booking photo of Whipple from April, 2018 accompanies this updated release.
