Enjoy Family Fun Noon To 4 P.M. At Floyd Lamb Park At Tule Springs
The Las Vegas City Council invites the public to join Ward 6 Councilman Steve Ross for a free community celebration Saturday, April 4, from noon to 4 p.m. at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. Bring the family to enjoy free amusement rides, a petting zoo, jump houses, horseback rides, music, local entertainment and games. Purchase fresh produce in the farmers’ market or refreshments from local vendors. The park is located at 9200 Tule Springs Road; park entry and all activities will be free from noon to 4 p.m.
“Please bring your family and join me for a wonderful afternoon of family fun this Saturday at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs,” said Councilman Ross. “I particularly urge you to join us at the park Saturday afternoon if you would consider becoming a foster parent to one or more of the hundreds of Clark County children in need of a good home.”
Adults that may be interested in becoming foster parents are particularly encouraged to attend the celebration. Clark County Division of Family Services representatives will offer foster care information and presentations and will be available to discuss foster care and adoption with those who are interested.
If you would like to learn more about helping provide assistance for children in foster care, go online to www.clarkcountynv.gov/depts/foster_care/, www.fosterconnect.org/ or www.casafoundationlv.org/.
