Free Event Open To Youth Ages 14 – 19
The city of Las Vegas and Ward 1 Councilwoman Lois Tarkanian are partnering with the Clark County School District to host a Youth College and Career Empowerment Summit Saturday, March 4. The event is open to youth ages 14 – 19 and will be held at Clark High School, 4291 Pennwood Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Youth will be able to attend interactive workshops, meet with college admission officers and military service recruiters, and network for potential job and internship opportunities. Professional attire is recommended and attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes for open interviews with employees. Lunch will be provided.
