“I am proud to represent the Las Vegas Arts District,” said Councilman Coffin. “This area is steadily growing and renovating, with new street improvements, new businesses, restaurants, and residential opportunities. It’s an exciting time downtown in our Arts District!”
This event celebrates the city of Las Vegas’ official designation of the Arts District as 18b in 2005. The 18b name originates from the 18 blocks originally included as the official Arts District in 2000, located in the southern end of downtown Las Vegas. Today, the Arts District continues to grow, offering an urban mix of residential, commercial and cultural uses, including eclectic galleries and studios, shops, eateries and bars.
