Audition Request Forms Due By Oct. 29
Active adults ages 50+ are invited to apply to audition for the annual Doolittle Senior Center “I’ve Got Talent Showcase.” Auditions for those who will perform music, poetry, song, dance, magic, and more in the showcase will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Thursday, Nov. 5, by appointment at the Doolittle Senior Center, located at 1930 N. J St. Those interested in auditioning and performing need to turn in a completed audition request form by 4 p.m. Oct. 29 at the senior center. Audition request forms are available now at the Doolittle Senior Center during open hours.
All performances are to be appropriate for a family audience, be limited to no more than 4 minutes, and include no fire or live animals. All performers must be age 50 or older. There is no cost to audition or perform. Call 702-229-6125 for more information on the auditions and showcase.
The Doolittle Senior Center “I’ve Got Talent Showcase” performance is set for Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at the West Las Vegas Library Theater, located at 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd. The showcase is free and open to the public and will feature music by The Never Too Late Band.
Immediately following the showcase, enjoy the Mix & Mingle at the Doolittle Senior Center with refreshments, socializing and DJ music. The Mix & Mingle costs $5 per person and is open to seniors. R.S.V.P. for the Mix & Mingle to 702-229-6125 by Nov. 12.
