High School Students Invited To Free Screening Of “Selma”
Students Must R.S.V.P. To Attend
The city of Las Vegas is offering free tickets to high school students for a screening of “Selma” Saturday, Feb. 7, at noon, at the Century 16 South Point, located at 9777 S. Las Vegas Blvd. Following the movie, a panel discussion moderated by the Psi Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will take place.
Students should R.S.V.P. by Feb. 6 by calling 702-229-6242 to reserve their seats and transportation.
The event is being hosted by the city of Las Vegas Batteries Included initiative, in partnership with the Clark County School District, Nevada Partners, Inc., and the UNLV Center for Academic Enrichment. The South Point Hotel and Casino is sponsoring the event.
